Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD)

Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD) is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental organization, which intends to support Georgia's national security, to strengthen principles of effective and democratic governance of the country and to create conditions for Georgia’s sustainable development. Based on the goals of the center, its work involves research, monitoring, advocacy and implementation of educational projects.

Giorgi Goguadze holds the position of Director at Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD). He has a solid professional background in managerial positions at different non-governmental organizations. Giorgi received BA and MA in International relations from the Tbilisi State University. Currently, he is doing his Ph.D. studies in International Relations at Caucasus University.

Mr. Goguadze's professional focus is conflict and terrorism studies, supporting the development of foreign security policies and research. He is author of policy papers and articles related to Georgia’s foreign policy analysis, preventing violent extremism and radicalization in Georgia. In this regard, he contributed to the work of many organizations, including USAID and other international organizations.
