The OSCE is an important pillar for European and international security, and GCSP has partnered with it to provide training, research and dialogue activities. First, studying the role of the OSCE is part of the academic schedules of a number of GCSP courses. GCSP has also offered tailor-made courses on the OSCE and related topics. In 2013, for example, it ran training modules on the OSCE for government officials from Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia. Second, GCSP provides platforms to discuss the current activities of the OSCE. An example of this was the Public Discussion, "Addressing the Ukrainian crisis: policy responses and perspectives", which took place in June 2014 at the Maison de la Paix in Geneva with the OSCE Secretary General Ambassador Lamberto Zannier. GCSP and OSCE also jointly organised a roundtable devoted to the 10th Anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1540 on the proliferation of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear weapons. The roundtable was convened in co-operation with the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNODA) and the Caribbean Community Secretariat (CARICOM). Third, GCSP has established an excellent and consistently expanding relationship with the OSCE Academy in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan with the aim to develop the capacity of future leaders in international security with an emphasis on conflict management and resolution. Finally, it also hosts on a regular basis roundtable discussions on European security with high-ranking participants, such as the OSCE Focus, organised jointly by the GCSP and the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
