OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions
Institute for Global Transformations is a Ukrainian independent think-tank founded in 2010 by Oleksandr Dombrovskyi and Oleksandr Chalyi. Main focus of its research and activities is dedicated to foreign and security policy of Ukraine, international politics and global trends, energy policy, bilateral relations of Ukraine with its key partners.
IGT strives to promote responsible Foreign and Security policy of Ukraine by providing a good expertise to public authorities and professional community for this aim. In September 2016 IGT organized an international conference (coordinated with OSCE Secretariat in Vienna) on the Ukraine crisis and OSCE activities. Currently the institute is actively participating the preparation of Economic doctrine of Ukraine and Plan for the settlement of the Ukraine crisis. IGT is also facilitating energy sector reform as well as assisting in reconciliation processes in and around Ukraine.
Oleksandr Chalyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (many years in capacity of First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Ukraine) chairs the Board of the institute. Ambasador Chalyi is a member of OSCE Eminent Persons Panel which had prepared reports on Lessons from the Ukraine crisis and European security.
Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, deputy of Ukrainian parliament and acting head of the parliamentary committee on Energy policy is a head of the Strategic Council of IGT.
Semeniy Oleksiy is a director of the IGT.

Mr. Semeniy is a Director of Institute for Global Transformations (Kyiv).
He graduated from Institute of International relations at Kyiv T.Shevchenko National University and Carl Friedrich Goerdeler College for Good governance (Berlin, Germany). He wrote his PhD thesis at Wilhelms Westphalia University of Muenster (Germany). Later on he worked in German Bundestag in the framework of International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS).
Afterwards his professional experience includes positions in Foreign Policy Department of Presidential Administration of Ukraine, employee of legal department at one of the largest Ukrainian financial-industrial groups, associate expert at International Centre for Policy Studies (Kyiv) and Deputy Director of United World foundation (Kyiv).
Since January 2013 he is a Director of Institute for Global Transformations (Kyiv).
Dr. Semeniy is a member of Younger Generation Leaders Network on Euro-Atlantic Security, Munich Young Leaders network, EASI Next Generation project, member of IISS-FES working group “Scenarios for Ukraine until 2030” and was a member of Transnistria Task Force.
