IGT strives to promote responsible Foreign and Security policy of Ukraine by providing a good expertise to public authorities and professional community for this aim. In September 2016 IGT organized an international conference (coordinated with OSCE Secretariat in Vienna) on the Ukraine crisis and OSCE activities. Currently the institute is actively participating the preparation of Economic doctrine of Ukraine and Plan for the settlement of the Ukraine crisis. IGT is also facilitating energy sector reform as well as assisting in reconciliation processes in and around Ukraine.
Oleksandr Chalyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (many years in capacity of First Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Ukraine) chairs the Board of the institute. Ambasador Chalyi is a member of OSCE Eminent Persons Panel which had prepared reports on Lessons from the Ukraine crisis and European security.
Oleksandr Dombrovskyi, deputy of Ukrainian parliament and acting head of the parliamentary committee on Energy policy is a head of the Strategic Council of IGT.
Semeniy Oleksiy is a director of the IGT.
